Our client was a physician specializing in nephrology medicine who recently finished fellowship training. We first obtained an O-1 extraordinary ability visa for the physician, and applied for EB-1 about five months after the O-1 approval. Our client had numerous presentations and publications, was a reviewer for several journals, and had worked at a distinguished medical centers. We submitted detailed evidence to support five of the 10 criteria. After our response to a request for additional evidence, the USCIS approved the EB-1 petition in 7 days.
